Ar ais ar scoil / Back to school

Tá súil agam go raibh sos breá Samhna ag gach duine. Tá muid uilig ag dúil go mór le pilleadh ar ais ar scoil ar an Luan.

I hope you all had a lovely Halloween break. We are all looking forward to returning to school on Monday.

All the children and the staff put in a tremendous effort from August to Halloween and we will continuing with this effort; handwashing, staying in our bubbles, separate breaks and lunchtimes etc.

Just a few reminders to ensure that we all return safely and lower any transmission risk moving forward.

• Everyone dropping and/or collecting children from the school gate must wear a mask.
• Everyone must social distance when at the school gates.
• Only one adult enters the playground to leave/collect children from Naíscoil Dhoire, Rang 1 and Rang 2.
• A mask must be worn by anyone entering the school site.
• If there is a confirmed case within your household, your child(ren) must stay at home for 14 days from day of symptoms.
• If your child has been a close contact of a confirmed case, he/she must also self-isolate for 14 days.
• If your child had a positive COVID test, he/she must stay at home for 10 days.
• Please inform the school if any of the above cases apply to your child as it may have an impact on the rest of the class and staff  and we also have to record the attendance register accordingly.

The above is to ensure that we are all able to return to and stay at school safely, we are all responsible for ourselves and each other and we ask for your full support and co-operation in following all the guidance between now and Christmas.
