Ag ceiliúradh Muire le linn mhà Bhealtaine /Celebrating Our Lady during the month of May
Is mí speisialta Bealtaine dúinn go léir i mBunscoil Chiolmcille siocair gurb í seo mí Mhuire in Éirinn go traidisiúnta. Mar sin de seo lá maith le smaoineamh faoi altóir Bhealtaine speisialta a dhéanamh i do theach in onóir Mhuire. Lean ort de bheith ag guí do Mhuire gach lá chun ár dteaghlaigh agus ár gcairde a choinneáil slán ar na saolta seo.
Tá paidir an-speisialta againn, a roinn muid leat cheana, darb ainm ‘Coróin Mhuire’. Déan iarracht í a rá a mhinice agus a thig leat le do theaghlach féin ionas go bhfanfaidh sibh faoi dhídean Choróin Mhuire.
Is é aistriúchán Gaeilge Corona ná ‘Coróin’ – a chiallaíonn ‘crown’. Is í ‘Coróin Mhuire’ Rosary i nGaeilge – go litriúil, Mary’s Crown. Dála an scéil, ciallaíonn sé ‘crown’ i Laidin fosta!
May is a very special month for us all in Bunscoil Cholmcille because traditionally in Ireland this is the month of Our Lady. This is a good day to think about making a special May altar in your home to honour Mary. Continue praying to Mary every day to keep our families and friends safe in these times.
We have a very special prayer, that we have already shared with you, called ‘Mary’s Crown’. Try to say it as often as you can with your own family so you can all stay under the protection of Mary’s Crown.
Corona translates as Coróin in Irish - which means ‘crown’. Coróin Mhuire is the Irish for ‘Rosary’ – literally, Mary’s Crown. By the way, it also means ‘crown’ in Latin!
